Background hiss heard in headset

If you hear a hiss noise during moments of silence during a game in your headset, you may be hearing the mic monitor feedback.  Try pressing the mic mute button (right earcup) to see if the hiss stops.  If it does and you don't care to use mic monitoring, press and hold the right earcup button for 3 seconds to disable mic monitoring.  You'll still be able to use the mic, but mic monitoring will not function.
